ABOUT 126 NEGATIVE SCANNING
Used since the early 60´s, 126 is a cartridge-based film format used in still photography and is associated mainly with low-end point-and-shoot cameras, particularly Kodak's Instamatic series of cameras.
Although the term "126" was intended to show that images were 26mm square, the image size is actually 28 x 28 mm.
